**Kimaya Seward: The Multifaceted Musical Maestro**
Kimaya Seward is a luminary in the world of music and business, seamlessly integrating her artistic talents with her entrepreneurial acumen. Holding an MA in Business Entrepreneurship and a BA in Marketing, she is the esteemed CEO and business owner of "Power of Presentation," a company that specializes in strategically implementing business structures for existing enterprises and providing comprehensive business plans and consulting services for new entrepreneurs and startups. Her excellence in this field earned her nominations for Who’s Who of Business Entrepreneur Professionals in 2010 and 2017.
Kimaya co-owns Mountain Moving Media with her business partner of twelve years, Rich Araujo, where she excels as a producer and creative director for a plethora of multimedia projects. Her guiding philosophy is to be "not a jack of all trades, but a master of many," a principle that has driven her diverse and successful career.
Kimaya's musical journey began with a foundation in classical violin, which earned her a full-ride scholarship to Juilliard. However, she chose to pursue her passion for singing instead. By the age of 18, she was performing and managing her own band, taking her talents to Japan and the club circuit. Upon returning, she focused on recording and developing her career as an artist. Throughout her career, she has collaborated with iconic producers such as Quincy Jones, Ray Parker Jr., Narada Michael Walden, LA Baby Face, and Arif Mardin. Her impressive credits include background vocals, songwriting, and voice-over work for jingles for major brands like Coke and I-Hop, as well as animated features such as *Land Before Time* and the *Balto* series for Warner Bros and Disney. She also served as a staff writer for Universal on the *Ghost Busters* cartoon series.
Her global performances and recordings include collaborations with renowned artists like Howard Hewitt, Diana Ross, Chante Moore, Blake Aaron, Michael Paulo, The Whispers, Keith Sweat, Yolanda Adams, T-Bone, Snoop Dogg, and CeCe Winans. This led her to become the lead singer and international artist for the Grammy-awarded jazz group, Hiroshima.
Transitioning to TV and film, Kimaya became a praise and worship singer for Morris Cerullo on the acclaimed show *Helpline*, which continues to broadcast to over 50 million viewers worldwide. This experience inspired her to start "On the Frontline Ministries," where she has produced and directed "Nights of Song and Testimony" for organizations focused on domestic abuse and families in need. Her speaking engagements at various churches and communities highlight her dedication to educating, motivating, and empowering others through song and inspirational messages.
Kimaya's film work as a voice-over actress and actor includes participation in the 48-Hour Film Festival, where she won the Best Audience Choice Award, and the short film *YAYA*, which received numerous awards. She has been involved in the Save Africa’s Children project and has hosted and produced for over ten years at The International Temecula Music and Film Festival.
Currently, Kimaya is producing a show called "Run Your Own Show," promoting business owners, entrepreneurs, artists, and those reinventing their lives. She also co-hosts another show, "We're Not Experts...But," with her longtime friend and business partner. Additionally, she is working on her solo album, blending jazz with her violin and vocals in an eclectic style, and writing scripts for TV and film. Her role as creative director and partner with The CUBE allows her to drive creativity in arts, education, and entertainment, helping others realize their dreams and visions.
Kimaya Seward’s journey began with a profound moment of inspiration at the age of 3 ½, watching Darren McGavin and Celeste Holm perform in *The King and I*. This early experience ignited her passion for the performing arts. Growing up, she absorbed diverse musical influences from artists like Ella Fitzgerald, Chaka Khan, Bobby Caldwell, Sarah Vaughn, Aretha Franklin, and Barbara Streisand. Her unique style, voice, and charisma blend to create something truly extraordinary.
In addition to her impressive career achievements, Kimaya is a dedicated mother to two beautiful young women, whom she considers her greatest accomplishment. Her journey is a testament to her versatility, talent, and unwavering dedication to both her professional and personal passions.
